Intoxicating.

The first time I came to Bangkok, I came for 3 days and rushed through all the tourist attractions like millions before me, before spending a two week beach holiday on Koh Samui. The second time I came to Bangkok, I was only meant to switch planes there, but due to this unpronounceable vulcan in Iceland, which decided to break out and cover Europe with black ash, I was stranded there for nearly two weeks. Looking back it was one of the best things that could happen. Because this time I really started to explore the city and all it has to offer.
